Blogger integration

Connect a Blogger blog with Google OAuth so auto-post.io can create draft posts, publish them, and sync Blogger labels as categories.

Prerequisites

  • A Google account with at least one Blogger blog
  • Permission to authorize auto-post.io with that Google account
  • An auto-post.io account with enough credits for generation

Connection uses Google OAuth. Manual API keys are not a supported connection method.

Connect with OAuth

  1. Open Websites (or continue from onboarding).
  2. Choose Connect Blogger.
  3. Authorize auto-post.io with your Google account via Blogger OAuth.
  4. After authorization, you return to the websites list. Every blog in the Google account is imported as its own website.

Each imported blog then syncs its categories, runs a brand voice analysis, and gets a health check.

What the integration can do

Once connected, campaigns and articles can:

  • Create draft posts on the Blogger blog
  • Publish posts immediately or keep them as drafts
  • Update or delete posts when the external ID is known
  • Sync categories from the labels used on existing posts

Content is sent to Blogger as HTML. The featured image is inserted at the top of the post body, because this integration does not set a separate Blogger cover image.

Publishing tips

  • Start with auto-publish disabled to review the first generated posts
  • Add labels to a few posts in Blogger so categories sync, then use them in your campaigns
  • If publish fails, reconnect from Websites and retry Publish on the article

Common issues

IssueWhat to check
Authorization deniedRestart from Websites and accept the Google permission screen
No blogs foundCreate a blog on blogger.com with the same Google account, then connect again
Invalid OAuth stateStart the connection again from Websites instead of reusing an old tab
Empty categoriesCategories come from labels on existing posts; add labels in Blogger, then reconnect or wait for the sync
Site connected but posts failConfirm the Google account still has write access to the blog; reconnect if access was revoked

TIP

After connecting, use Website analysis to suggest campaigns from your Blogger content and branding.
